Once you know your brand, you’ll want to come up with a gameplan of the type of products that you can create to sell that will help people. This will typically look something like this:
Reports and Ebooks
Reports and Ebooks are easy to create and you can sell them or give them away to build your list. They will typically sell from anywhere between $7 and $47. Sometimes more, depending on the quality of the content and your market.
Once you’ve created a report or ebook, you can easily turn it into an audio program. Again, audio programs can be used as a lead generation tool, or can be packaged as a product to be sold. Audio programs will sell from anywhere between $37 and $297.
Video Training Series
The next step up is to create a video training series. This may not be applicable, depending on your niche, but most niches will support a video training product. Video training products can sell anywhere between $97 and $497. Sometimes much more.
Group Coaching and One-on-One Coaching
After you’ve learned alot from creating these products and have established your credibility, you’re ready to move up to providing a coaching program. A group coaching program will typically go for a set period of time, e.g. 10 weeks. It will typically involved group coaching calls, alongside online training modules and resources. Group coaching products sell for anywhere between $497 and $5,000.
One-on-one coaching is a premium product. Because of limitations of your time, and the great impact you can have on someone’s success by giving them personal mentoring, this product comes at a premium price. One-on-one coaching typically sells for anywhere between $2,997 and $50,000 or more.
As an expert in your field, you will be sort out by individuals and businesses for brief consultations. Consultation rates vary greatly but will typically start at about $300 per hour and can get into the thousands per hour. Some consultants charge $10,000 per day or more.
The key to building your product line is to know your brand in advance and then to start off small and work your way up. Write a report, then take it to the next level by writing an ebook.
Next, turn that ebook into an audio program and also possibly a video series. Soon you will find that your knowledge in your niche is expanding to the point where you can start coaching others.
Use this unique content you’re creating as a traffic generation tool. Put segments or summaries of it on your blog and on Youtube. Use it to build your list and to build a relationship with your list.
There’s nothing that works more powerfully in establishing trust and credibility with your niche than having your own products.
