The Best Way To Monetize A Blog – How I Do It
For me it’s all about building a list. The main purpose of my blog is to get people onto my email list so I continue to communicate with them, add value, and promote my products and services. And, yes, affiliate offers too.
Over the long run, building a list is a lot more profitable than just sending your blog visitors to an affiliate offer or straight to a sales page for your own products and services.
Another method for monetizing your blog that hasn’t been mentioned yet is Adsense. Adsense is still a great way to monetize your content. Especially because it is very hands-off once it is set up. The only issue with relying on Adsense is that Google is extremely fussy about their Adsense program. If you do anything to violate their guidelines, your Adsense account will be suspended.
