Planning and executing an effective information product launch can mean the difference between making 100 sales and 10,000 sales.
Here are some tips for making your next product launch a success:
Prior to the launch, give away 2 to 3 pieces of information via different media, e.g. a video, a report, a teleseminar.
Make sure this is your best content. Take a look at what you are offering and pick out the most powerful one or two points and give it away.
Why? If you want people to buy from you, give them a taste of what you have to offer first. If its good, they will be hungry for more.
When presenting your message, you need to cater to the four different learning types. They are the why, what, how and what ifs.
The Why Person
They want to know why they need to learn of what you are teaching.
The What Person
Curious as to what are the facts, theory or history behind what you are teaching.
The How Person
Some people just want to know how to do it. They don’t want any fluff; just what action steps need to be taken. They like procedures, step-by-step guides.
The What If Person
This person wants to know what the result would be if they went out and did it right now. They want feedback and results. They need to be motivated to take action.
When presenting your material, do it in this order: Why, what, how and then what if. In fact, you will want to use these four steps in this order in everything you do; your sales copy, email, conversation, etc.
If you do this, 100% of people will understand you and why your product is important for them. This, in turn, will greatly increase their desire to buy it.
You have got the point over better than I ever could, thanks!
