My Blog Persona

My Blog PersonaA blog persona is a fictional person you create that embodies who it is you are trying to reach out to with your blog. Here are two blog personas that I have created for this make money online blog

Tom is 28 years old. He is married with two young children; a boy and a girl.

Tom has a mortgage on a small home and lives on a quiet street in the suburban area of a main city. His children go to the nearby public school.

Tom works as an accountant for a medium-sized car rental franchise. He works Mondays to Fridays, 9am to 5pm.

Tom is not happy with the ways things are going financially. He had hopes for providing for his wife and children a nicer home and a second car for his wife to get around more easily.

He’d also like to be able to take his family away more on vacations and to take his wife to nice restaurants more often on their date nights. He loves the idea of having an online business that will allow him to make the same amount of money he is currently making with his job, or even more, so that he can spend more time with his family.

Tom’s computer skills are intermediate to advanced. He knows how to use the Internet to find whatever it is he’s looking for, he’s great with word processors, spreadsheets and even knows how to use PowerPoint.

Tom has never built a website before. He has no html or other website programming knowledge.

Susan is 35 years old. She is a single mother of a young teenage girl.

Susan is renting an apartment in the suburbs of a main city. She works for the government in a clerical position, Mondays to Fridays from 9:30am to 5:30pm.

Susan takes her daughter to the nearby public school every morning and Susan’s mother (who lives nearby) picks up her daughter from school in the afternoon.

Susan enjoys spending time with her daughter.

Susan wants to have more financial control over her future and better prospects for her daughter. She would like to own her own apartment or home one day. She would also like to do this without having to work a second job in the evenings or on the weekend.

Susan has discovered that she can make money online from home, and be able to build it up part-time. She’s keen to get something going but doesn’t have a lot of money to put into it.

Susan’s computer skills are basic to intermediate; she knows how to surf the internet, pay bills online, send and receive email, use a word processor and spreadsheets.

Susan has never built a website before. He has no html or other website programming knowledge.
