JLDC 0002: John Lagoudakis dot Com Podcast – January 7th 2014

Here’s a recording of the latest Internet Marketing conference call I held with my List Marketing System members recently…

These conference calls are for members of my List Marketing System and we typically discuss ways we can drive traffic to our squeeze pages to build our list. The calls are open to questions on any Internet marketing topics at all.

Topics discussed during this podcast include; podcasting setup issues, how to embed multiple videos on a WordPress blog without slowing up the page load-up time, how to set up niche sites, guest blogging best practices, best ways to promote MLM online, setting goals and more.

Here’s a timeline of the topics discussed during the conference call:

0:00 – Welcome to the call

0:30 – Issues setting up a podcast. Apple has not approved a podcast with over 440 items already posted.

1:45 – Overcoming issues with Blubrry PowerPress setup

4:50 – A page on my blog, with a lot of Youtube videos embedded, takes a long time to load. Is there Youtube plugin that will help increase the page load time?

7:35 – How should I set up a niche site?

14:00 – What do you do when approached by someone offering you an opportunity?

15:00 – Guest posts – how do I know if it is not spun content or PLR?

17:00 – Anyone getting results from their Kindle books?

17:30 – If you are with a really reputable multi-level marketing company, what do you recommend is the best way to promote it with Internet marketing?

20:40 – If someone submits a guest post for my blog, and the grammar is bad, should I change it?

21:40 – Should I install my blog on a subdomain?

23:45 – How do I set up an RSS feed for my blog?

25:15 – Do you allow guest bloggers to sign their own name as the author?

  1. hello John;

i listened to this podcast. Today, YouTube is not much of a problem for the speed of the site. We do not need to use plugins 🙂 Overall, I listened to a nice podcast. Thanks 🙂

    1. Hi Ahmet, yeah a lot has changed since that podcast episode… Youtube is still great for free traffic and video marketing on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Snapchat is awesome for connecting with your market and building a following.
