15 Minutes A Day

Consistency is key to success.

One thing I do to help me to be consistent is to do a least one thing every day to build up my business. This is important, especially if you’re working a full-time job, etc and you don’t have a lot of time.

If you don’t work on your business regularly, your vision will fade and you won’t reach your goals. Just spending 15 minutes a day on your business adds up quickly and you will achieve great things.

The reason why I like to tell myself to spend 15 minutes a day on tasks is because it’s such a short period of time. You know you can spare 15 minutes to spend on your business.

15 Minutes A Day - Time ManagementAnd you will most likely do it!

And once you start (which is the hardest part), you won’t want to stop 😉

A lot of people that I know personally are surprised when the find out some of the things I’ve accomplished…

  • Authoring books
  • Live workshops
  • Audio programs
  • Video training series

Do I have any more skill or any more time than anyone else?

My secret is this 15 minute principle.

Try it. I guarantee it will have a HUGE impact on your online business.

But you don’t have to stop there. Use it in all areas of your life.

Back in the 1840s, during the Californian gold rush there was a young merchant from the other side of the country who sold everything he had to seek out his fortune in gold. He was told that there were nuggets so large in the Californian rivers that you could barely carry them!

Day after day the young man dipped his pan in the river but each and every time he came up empty. The only thing he had to show for his hard work was a growing pile of rocks!

Discouraged and ready to give up, he was visited by an experienced prospector.

“That’s quite a pile of rocks you’re getting there, my boy.”

The young man replied, “There’s no gold here. I’m going back home.”

The old prospector went over to the pile of rocks.

“Oh, there’s gold here alright. You just need to know where to find it.” Picking up two of the rocks from the pile, he smote them together. One of them split open, revealing several flecks of gold sparkling in the sunlight.

The young man noticed a bulging leather pouch fastened to the prospector’s waist.

“I’m looking for nuggets like the ones in your pouch, not just tiny flecks.”

The old prospector extended his pouch toward the young man, who looked inside, expecting to see several large nuggets. He was stunned to see that the pouch was filled with thousands of flecks of gold.

“Son, it seems to me you are so busy looking for large nuggets that you’re missing filling your pouch with these precious flecks of gold. The patient accumulation of these little flecks has brought me great wealth.”

Don’t wait until tomorrow, thinking you’ll have time to do what you want to do in your online business.

Tomorrow never comes.

Get started right NOW.

Spend 15 minutes a day on your business and you’ll be amazed at what you’ll accomplish.
