“You’re either doing or you’re not doing. Doing is a habit, and not doing is a habit too.”
When I first heard that saying it made me cringe. “That’s a bit harsh!” I thought to myself. But over the years I’ve come to find that it is the truth, and when you embrace it, it really isn’t harsh at all.
Unfortunately, most people don’t want to face reality. Let me give you an example; when people don’t have enough fruit on their fruit tree they focus on what? The fruits! They’ll say things like, “They’re not big enough!” and “They’re not as juicy as my neighbors,” etc.
Where should they be looking? At the roots!
Each of us needs to ask ourselves this question; “What am I creating in my life?” If you find that there is anything in your life right now that you don’t like, you need to take ownership of it. You need to tell yourself that this is your creation. Only by taking ownership of something can you change it.
Blaming someone or something will not help you one bit. Everything happens for a reason and that reason is there to serve you. No one cares about excuses. No one is interested in your story. So what if you’ve been divorced three times, bankrupt, cancer survivor, poor family. Your health, wealth, weight, relationships, and so forth, are of your creation, and they are there to serve you.
We’re all living in a spiritual, emotional, mental and physical world. Your physical world is a merely a printout of what is happening in your spiritual, emotional and mental world.
Is lack of money a problem? No! It’s a symptom that something is wrong in the other areas of your world. Your inner world creates your outer world.
The process of manifesting things in your life goes like this:
Your thoughts lead to your feelings, which lead to your actions, which leads to the results in your life.
Why do some people have the Midas touch? Because their thermostat is set to success. When you believe it then you’ll see it. As Henry Ford put it, “If you believe you can or you can’t, you’re absolutely right.”
