What Is A Traffic Exchange?
As the name implies, traffic exchanges allow you to put your site in front of other people in exchange for you looking at other’s sites also. It’s a great way to get free traffic to your site, especially when you’re first starting out online.
Different Types of Traffic Exchanges
There’s two main types of traffic exchanges; manual and auto surf.
Manual surf traffic exchanges require user interaction. You have to manually click on a ‘Next’ button to see each site and to earn credits. The more credits you earn, the more your own site is shown.
There is usually a timer that counts down and then enables the ‘Next’ button so that you’re forced to look at each site for at least a few seconds.
Auto surf traffic exchanges work a little differently. All you need to do is have your web browser open, and the different sites are automatically rotated. Auto surf sites are usually much less effective because user interaction is not required.
