Before you begin posting your ads, there’s a couple of important things to keep in mind:
- Read through each site’s terms for ad submissions. This will help make sure your ads get approved and will save you a lot of time and frustration. Also, you don’t want to have your account suspended.
- Select the right category. Take the time to look through the categories you’re considering placing your ad in and make sure that it is the appropriate one for you.
- Unless your product or service is limited to a specific location or locations, advertise in the main cities. This will give you the most exposure.
- Don’t spam. Be honest in your advertising and don’t overdo the amount of submissions you make. If you’re posting in multiple locations, it’s best to alter your ad text each time and wait about 10 minutes between postings.

Hi Mantas, US Free Ads is one of the best classified ads sites for list building and you can get good, cost-effective traffic if you’re a Premium member and also use their Featured Ads. I’m not sure about the other classified ads sites.
I also can’t use Craigslist except for Australian cities and they don’t get much traffic. It’s not popular here.
