What Is a Blog?
A blog is like an online journal. It’s a space that you can easily add your observations, thoughs, pictures, videos, etc that you would like to share with the world.
Some blogs are personal, some informational and others are for business purposes. Some blogs encourage interaction while others are simply to inform.
Why Are Blogs a Good Way To Make Money Online?
There are four main reasons why blogs are a great way to make money online:
1. Easy Setup. Blogs are very easy to setup. You can literally have a blog set up in minutes.
Sites like Blogger are free to join and you can have your first post published with just a few clicks. Even if you want to host a blog on your own domain, setting up WordPress takes a few seconds!
2. SEO. The search engines (Google, Yahoo, Bing) all love blogs.
Why? Because the content is fresh and unique. Blogging platforms also help you to easily optimize your posts with tags, keywords and the relevant titles and can also automate the pinging of search engines. If you already have a blog it will be a good idea earning some money, but unfortunately is not that easy. I have a blog for 6 months but I didn’t get any luck earning some money.

Unfortunately this is changing, as more people use blogs to online marketing, Google began to appreciate less and less blogs, and even pushed them out slowly.

This is an inspiring post. But i am wondering is that Autopilot thing corresponds to Autoblogging? I mean i tried auto blogging plugin once on wordpress but i found it very hard to find RSS that provides full feeds, so i think it wont work unless you get relevant RSS that provides full feeds.

Thanks Mayur. The “autopilot” section refers to the pertutual traffic (and sales) that you get from your blog for years and years to come once it is all set up. There’s a lot of different ways to make money online but the best ones are those that you can ‘set and forget’. That’s what I love about blogs. Yes, it is best to continue to add content to your blog, but this only adds to your income stream to give you even bigger profits.
Hi John, thanks but it sounds like it can make our lives so easy right? Isn’t that just amazing? Yes it is, but don’t you think that traffic is important? I mean if the site is not getting any traffic then it wont work right? So the focus should always be on generating traffic, more traffic.

Yes, it’s all about traffic and conversions. Blogging is one way to get a lot of free traffic.
Good points. Keeping your posts clear and unique is also necessary if you want to make money from blogs. A blog needs to be commercial free. However, you must write with the intent of your visitors actively clicking on the ads. Making money with blogs means knowing how to motivate when you are writing. If you do not know how to do that, then you may want to take some writing courses or hire someone to blog for you.
Never heard of Blog Blueprint but definitely agree with your thoughts. Additionally there are plenty of plug-ins available which can even make wordpress more flexible and extend capabilities.
