Monitoring Google Analytics WordPress
Now that you’ve installed the Google Analytics for WordPress plugin, you can login to the Google Analytics site whenever you like and check all the statistics from your blog.
Google Analytics records everything you could ever want to know, including:
- how visitors came to your site
- what those visitors are doing on your site
- which pages your visitors are leaving your site from
- how long the average visitor is on your site for
- which keywords are bringing in organic search engine traffic
That last point is very important. By knowing which keywords are bringing in the most traffic to your site, you can create even more content based on those keywords, or more backlinks to those pages/posts to strengthen their search engine ranking.
