1. Understand that project management skills are important.
This is the most common cause for people failing online. They have too many projects running at the same time. You need to focus on one project at a time.
2. Understand that systems are important.
People fail if they have no goal and no strategy to reach that goal. Do you want to start off earning $1,000 per month? Write down your goal and what you will do to achieve that goal. Break it down into monthly, weekly and daily tasks and review them daily. Put a system into place that you can follow and be diligent in sticking to it.
Whenever you hear an interview, read a book, buy new software, etc, that can build your business, make sure you take that information and implement it by creating a process map. Have a folder to place your process maps in.
3. Do something you’re passionate about.
Get into a niche you’re interested in, that you love and are passionate about.
4. Learn from successful business persons.
There is a well-known saying, “Success leaves clues”. Get your hands on books written by those who have had the success that you want to achieve. Read their autobiographies. Listen to their talks. This is very powerful for two reasons. First, you will find the motivation you need when times get tough. Secondly, you’ll learn principles that you can put into practice in your business and your life.
